Since I have money to waste, I don't really care about it's price.
Although I am most likely going to purchase it off eBay since it is only half the price listed in stores. If anyone has ever used this joystick what did you think?
I have an old generic joystick, and I just can't calibrate it anymore, so thought that one above might have been a good one.
I checked the logitech site:
http://www.logitech....CA/EN,crid=2214
But it has no throttle on any of them...

i went from a cyborg to that. and well that is unimportant...
sure that stick is shiny and pretty, but its loose, uncomfortable, the buttons arent smooth, and the throttle eh im not impressed, and all the buttons! so many buttons you will never use there are even shifts for more sets, it is just a show joy stick.
i have found the lesser saiteks, mostly the cyborgs are comfy, SIMPLE, and have yet to let me down, I dont really think a joystick like that will show much improvement....no real added reaction in sensativity etc....
better yet buy a saitek evo,a logitech g5 and a logitech g15 and be a happy man!!!!

Interesting feedback. I recently heard the same from someone else that made a Review about it. I guess I'll search a bit more I'll check out those you named later on.

If you're getting a joystick, THAT'S THE ONE TO GET!!!! But joysticks suck in BF2... at least when trying to fly a heli w/ them

a little late but i agree! i had that 3d pro for a while its the best i have ever used, but it got some moisture in it from the hurrican so no longer works so i then bought the freedom 2.4 (the wireless logitech)
i wish i had the 3d pro back
never but the wireless joystick its great and everything but just the fact that its wireless its not really realiable and itd like 2 time the price
but i still have it every time i want to use it i have to click and wait like 5 sec to gain its connection its a little annoying
cant go wrong eith the 3d pro its cheap and its great the only think is the speed controll is a little loose but it still pwns
