I tried to 'help' someone add a marker last night. However we where unable to add them as... well we could not find 'add marker' I do not know if I could not add an icon because I am all ready on there or if its broken. Could someone please explain precisely how people 'add markers'

Something has happened because there are a hell of a lot of people whose names are no longer on there. Myself included. And I don't see you on there either Birney. Some have been deleted or lost somehow.

Ah.. I believe this is still broken. Someone would probably need to rebuild it, or get in contact with the guy who originally put it together.

I doubt that is happening, the guy hasn't logged on in 3+ years.
