Going to bring up a question asked earlier: Are there going to be a way for spectators to watch?

i personally dont think it would be a good idea...a spectator could tell the other team where people are

i think its better to remove the freecam for the tourny and let the people who die only see their teammembers
because if someone is dead he can use freecam to and tell where enemys are

Sad to think when it comes to competition members would resort to that. I get a kick out of some who do it all the time while in server, it's so obvious.
I know one player in particular who always does it, my reply in game...."get a good look".

Our Admin team need freecam on, too bad some take advantage of it.

I have $100 for side beach bleacher seats. I'll watch all the action at work on tv, I think the tourny is being covered by Fox Sports.

Alvin got back to me on the pay to watch concept. I told him I thought of that years ago for fests. I use to watch the fests all the time, I loved being able to zoom in on the various battles happening all over the map...what action!

The event would need to offer occupancy for paying spectators. These spectators would gather in a separate TS channel set up strictly for them, play by play would be done by someone with a knack for doing so.

Your $5 gets you a great view of all the action and a private TS channel with play by play.

I'm totally in favor for this but we don't have the room in the mod server and we'd have to trust the contestants not to cheat using the Freecam.

Other than that, I'd soooooo pay $5 for it.

Each team has 14 players. 24 slots on the server. 14+14 = 28 so already max of 12 ppl per team can be playing. How many from each team can show up is a different story. But still, on normal circumstances there is no room on the server for extra spectators.

there is more to it than just being in a separate ts channel...there is xfire, if you are spectating you can type in team chat...i trust you all but i think it would be best if we didnt...even though i myself would love to watch some matches...also how would you decide who spectated...there could be 4 spots open and 10 people wanting to spectate..."fights" could ensue cuz of that...sad i know but it could happen
