I know I speak a lot but I do it in all honesty. I know also that if you are in management that you have to be more company like. Been there done that in my life. I try to help others that need help. My score does not matter to me. It is irrelevant as far as a team goes. I have had management jobs before. I play on tdm mainly but cq sometimes. My pc can handle what is needed and hopefully will upgrade soon. Hours I play varies and will change again I am sure. I know the rules as I have read them many many times to quote them to others. [Game Name]: Sir. Char Aznable

[First Name]: Ben

[Age]: Sorry but I'm a bit uncomfortable with disclosing certain bits of personal information in a very public place such as that literally anyone could see. I've given my age to some of those who have asked, however, I'd prefer it to remain a private matter.

[Location]: Croatan National Forest, North Carolina, United States of America

[Which server do you play, TDM or CQ?]: Both, and DC.

[How often and what times do you play]: Any time. Being that I'm a full time student, I play whenever I have a bit of free time or take a break. More often than not I'm around at say, 2300 to 0400. Though, as I've said, this can vary dependent upon when I have time. I am, however, usually on TeamSpeak at all times except for when I'm sleeping; given that I do my school entirely online.

[Why should we make you an Admin?]: Should you? If you're not in need for any for Battlefield 1942 you shouldn't. If you do need, or rather want, more for Battlefield 1942 then you should; and here is why...
Firstly, I've play Battlefield 1942 since it's late beta days. I've gone through every single version of the game from retail (1.0) to final (1.61b). I've got both expansions and play DC when there's a good bit going in the server. I've also played DC since its original alpha builds way back when the allies had almost all of the mods and axis still had the same weapons (which was highly unbalanced given allies had M1's and axis still had panzers).

Secondly, I'm part of what used to be called the Sir. Pyrotechnic Stunt Team (which later became The Sir. Community). This means that I stunted; a lot. Our goal was to simply break the game or do things which were never intended to be done. GP Jumps, AA Gun Jumps, Beaching ships entirely on land, exploring outside of the map walls, testing and manipulating glitches, and so on and so forth. We made hundreds, literally hundreds, of videos of our stunts and general madness for Battlefield 1942. I, personally, created a few stunts; two examples would be the spinning tank inside a hangar (this was when hangars repaired all vehicles, you drive the tank next to a wall, turn the turret sideways into the wall and fire, and continue firing sideways as the tank flips and spins out of control and chaos ensues all as it was continually repaired), and Tank Rolling (similar to the former but much less to do, drive the tank on top of a tall, particularly wide hill, turn the turret sideways and fire, and continue to do so as the tank rolls down the hill) which led to things like rolling races and such.

Other reasons include the fact that I've played several other mods and am experienced with them as well. These include Interstate, 1918, Codename Eagle, Eve of Destruction, Merciless Realism, and others I'm sure I can't remember. I've also run my own servers before for this game and many others including, Unreal Tournament, Delta Force 2, Deus Ex, Battlefield 1942 Demo and Battlefield 1942 retail, Battlefield Secret Weapons Demo, YSflight, Microsoft Flight Simulator X, Command & Conquer series of games, and I'm sure lots more I can't happen to remember. Besides which I've experience with both the manual and blackbagops admin tools for Battlefield 1942 before.

In short, I know the game inside and out. I've played with Battlecraft, I've played with low and even negative gravity, I know most if not all of the hiding, climbing, camping, etc spots on all standard maps.

I could go on about my experience with and in other games (which is indeed a long history even back into the 1980s) but I won't bother with that unless asked. I've a lot of experience with battlefield 1942 communities and the stories I could tell you are amazing and many unbelievable. I've been with the community since the start, all of the old websites I could name off, all of the old Nvidia servers I played on, even the low gravity Omaha that you used to run. I've had a lot of experience with all types of games and the communities within them as well, including running guilds and other things. Again, I could put quite a list of games and what I did, as per community, within them if asked. I also run a community on IRC and we have anywhere from 70 to 100+ users at any given time. I've just last year run an international anniversary for one of my personal favourite franchises which cost me about two months work and around $900 USD in giveaways and had participants from at least eighteen countries, which I plan to be annual.

Overall I'm not sure what more there is to say. Those that will read this will know that I'm usually on one of the three populated servers or that I'm almost always on TeamSpeak, I'm sure.

Game Name: Joker [Aut]®
First Name: Dominik
Age: 18
Location: Vienna, Austria
Which server do you play, TDM or CQ?: Both.
How often and what times do you play: Well, I am still a student, so it depends on how much i have to do for school. But I try to play as much i can. Mostly I play around afternoon till night (something like 14 - 24 CET).
Why should we make you an Admin?: I have heard MG is looking for "euro"-guys. And ... i am a nice, friendly guy.

Game Name: mint

First Name: Shaun

Age: 25

Location: San Francisco, CA

Which Server Do You Play, TDM or CQ?: TDM i'd say but its pretty close

How Often and What Times Do You Play: I play quite a bit. Mostly around the later westcoast times: 10:00PM-5AM PST.
Why Should We Make You An Admin? Well the main reason that comes to mind is that there seems to almost never be any admins on during the hours that i stated above. I know I play at kind of an oddball time and the only people that seem to be on are insomniacs and Euros but its when i like to play (Euros are usually good KDR fluffers:). That is the main selling point id say and also the reason I am here applying. Aside from that reason, I am also very familiar with the rules and the commands and have put in a lot of gametime on your servers. Since I've played on your servers so much I feel also that I'd be giving something back to the community. I'm not on TS usually and I'm not sure how much that will affect your decision but I just like to focus on the sounds of the game mostly. I can hop on whenever necessary but when im playing I'd rather just have the gamesound going. Well thats my app and if you guys think I could be of some use , I'd love to help out. Either way I'll standby for a reply, THANKS.

Game Name:PaRaM
First Name: Param :)
Age: 18
Location: Near Toronto, ON (Canada)
Which server do you play, TDM or CQ?: I play both, but I prefer CQ more.
How often and what times do you play: I play on weekdays and a lot on weekends. Mostly in evenings and near midnights(GMT -4).
Why should we make you an Admin?: I'm very friendly and helpful person. In-game I try to help whoever I can and be friendly. I'm calm and collective person and I can handle the pressure. I'm also the type of person that will take constructive criticism to better myself. Being a annoying and whining brat I was, I have learned a lot in the past years. To be able to make correct decisions, to be friendly and be a team-player; just to name some. I would love the opportunity to be a part of the Moon community and help make it even better. Thank you for your time.

Hey whats goin on everybody ?
Just wanted to plea my case to become an admin for the Moongamers Community....: :wasnt-me:

Game Name: RAWDAWG
First Name: Tony
Age: 51 omg
Location:Sacramento California USA
Which server do you play, TDM or CQ?: I play BF1942 in the TDM and Desert Combat servers most of the time.
How often and what times do you play: I usually play daily. I play at all times, Im a night owl as well, so Im on alot from 8pm to 3am. I think my longest is probably 5 or 6 hours at least.
Why should we make you an Admin?:

I am honestly interested in Moongamers Community of servers.
I feel I should contribute some of my time to help keep the servers I play in running smoothly. I found Moongamers is the place to play and meet others that share our passion for quality in gaming. I have a work from home scenario and have plenty of time to promote our site in game and on the web.

Posted 14 June 2010 - 10:16 PM

Game Name: Colonel Hogan

First Name: Christian

Age: 11

Location: Houston, TX

Which server do you play, TDM or CQ?: Both

How often and what times do you play: I play any time from 11:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. (Not the whole time, of course.)

Why should we make you an Admin?: I want to become an admin because I am a strong believer in fair play and I want to make Moongamers a better place. I am well respected among my friends and by the Admins, and I really want to become one too. Also, even though I'm only 11, I think that I am mature enough to decide who to kick or ban and for how long (please dont reject my application on account of my age!) I have also seen some people say bad words, teamkill, nade and expack spam, etc. and I know how to handle all of these situations. Finally, I have a thourough understanding of the rules and I always try my hardest to abide by them.

Thanks for reading,

Colonel Hogan

Game Name: =SoC= greg

First Name: Greg

Age: 19, 20 in September

Location: Oklahoma, USA

Which server do you play, TDM or CQ?: Both, but mainly TDM

How often and what times do you play: I play daily (usually), in the evenings from/between about 9PM to 5AM (Eastern).

Why should we make you an Admin?: What comes to mind first is the times I am usually on... the wee-morning hours when, lots of times, an admin is not present. For example, earlier tonight we played Bocage three times in a row and nothing could be done about it. On top of this, I have experience administering servers (=SoC= in the glory days of our server and the game, anything from RM to modding maps to PBBans) and leading teams in competition. I feel that leading teams/administering servers has helped me to understand how to converse with players better and be a bit more understanding of everyone. Ever since =SoC= more or less left 1942 for other games, I have been stuck playing on other servers since ours is all but dead. I know that I play on Moon enough that I could have a positive contribution to the game I have a passion for and give back to the Moon community by providing a good atmosphere for players. I would love nothing more than to help out the Moon community because this in turn helps the 1942 community. I enjoy the people who game on Moongamers and feel that the more I play with them, the more I find myself at home when on Moon.

Just out of curiosity....do you guys pay people to be admins?

Only in cyber donuts and parking spots.

So...No. The admins choose to take all of the abuse from players on a volunteer basis.

We are very particular who we put in charge of the store. Your posting here will not guarantee that you will become an Admin for MoonGamers! However, in order to get started in the "get to know you" process, you can help by posting your bios here.
