Harry, Harry, Harry......what memories you have awakened. I saw Jay and The Americans at Disneyland on July 4th 1969. A great place for a young Marine and his fellow young Marines to be on such a date. I was stationed at Camp Pendleton for BITS ( Battalion Infantry Training ) last stop on the way to sunny southeast Asia. The fireworks were incredible, just like the opening of the T.V. show at the time. California blondes EVERYWHERE !!!

 

Another tune for the boys......

I use to see these guy's frequently in Milwaukee for a $5-10 dollar cover at the door. This is well before they turned to bubblegum yuk.....these guy's rocked the house!!
