But, if you can also, save up and get something else instead of the 1600, it is a horrible card.

built mine for relativly cheap
I have
Kingwin something case ( Very nice heavy and sturdy. Alot of room) 45$ or so
Gigabyte k8 nforce 4 something bought used from t-badger 30$
crossair value ram 80$ or so
7600GT Evga I reccomend this card. I get constant 100 fps in cs everything high and filters on 4x. Its relativly cheap at around 130$
Amd 3200 64+ - 64 are CHEAP NOW get a dual core for less than I paid for this 125$ at the time.
Hardrive - any large sata will do 40-80 or so
I think total I spent less than 600$
Obviously my prices are not all there, but look around and find good deals.
Fuel, do you like sports? Im 13 as well, and I will be getting a job as a soccer referee soon. In my city, it pays about 10 bucks a game.
man you are getting ripped off
I got paid 20$ a game. In tournys, I would make 100$ a day.

You need AT LEAST a Radeon x850xt to run BF2142, the x1800 would be better, because it has newer technologies used by newer/future games. BF2 you can get by with a simple x600.
im just running an x800xl in my 2nd comp and i dont get any lag at all on medium. havent tried high but im not really into pretty graphics just shooting.
behold the budget gamers
