How To catch a lizzard.
Step 1.
Verify it's a lizzard. It should have legs. If it doesn't have legs and is in your house. Call 911. (Don't).
Step 2.
Remove any curtains, blinds or wall art from the interior of your abode.
Step 2.1
If you have a cat, and do not care for the lizzards life, sic the cat on it. Sit back and watch.

Step 3
If cornering and catching the lizzard in a window sill or wall corner doesn't work. Or you don't want to touch it, herd the lizzard onto the wall. Where it's flat and smooth.
Step 4
Without your mother knowing, grab a tupperware food container and lid, with the lizzard on the wall, quickly place the Tupperware container over the lizzard.
Step 5
Wait until the lizzard jumps and clings to the Tupperware.
Then quickly pull the Tupperware off of the wall and place the lid on the container.

Step 6, either name it, or take into the woods to live.

My step 1 would be to get the shotgun out.

I catch and release anything in the house... Except flies... Flies must be... liquidated.

Unless you have a lizard. Then flies are dinner...

looks like an anole. i have loads on my porch.  somehow, its the geckos that manage to get in the house. a few weeks ago i had to trap one in a cup in the sink. the two cats i have patrolling would have killed the little fellow/lady quick. lizards i will escort out of the house. being in florida,we have some SERIOUS roaches. i own an airsoft pistol strictly for dealing with these bugs.
