""A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.""

That saying has been getting on my nerves extremely lately. Usually when I try to start the game, it does that. I try again, same thing, try 3 more times, same problem. I log off my account on Vista, log back in, and BOOM, it works.

But no it doesn't stop there. When I go into awards on BF 2142 and click on nearly any badge, it crashes. I mean wth, is this a major screwup from EA? It does the same thing to a friend, so I know it isn't just mine.

As to the warning message, is there anyway on Windows Vista Ultimate 64-Bit to make it leave just ignore if the program stops working correctly that way it won't close it?

THIS ONLY HAPPENS ON BATTLEFIELD 2142 - I have NO problems on COD WaW, L4D, etc

Any ideas?

Kinda what I figured. It's probably why northern strike won't work. Least I know I'm not the only one.

Hi Ghost, sorry to hear you are having issues. I have informed Cannonfoddr that you have replied back with your stats on your machine and he said he will do some reading and get back with you. In the mean time hang in there. :)

only have two suggestions...one don't run the latest driver from nvidia for the card....go back to 181.?? make sure all drivers are up to date....seems to be a problem with the 64bit version of vista and games in general... I am still looking for solutions.

I had the same problems with 181 and 180. "64bit version of vista and games in general." This is the ONLY game I have problems on. All my other games work perfectly fine
