i need some help with anti virus progs!
can anyone reccomend a free one?

Just remember, whatever version that you run, that you keep it updated. Paid software such as Norton or McAfee (sp?) charge a yearly subscription to keep getting updates. I use the program Cosa suggested, AVG, its great because its got fast scanning, fast real-time scanning, and FREE updates. Get it now!

ironicly, that's the one i downloaded right before i posted!

edit: tried to install and can't, you need a serial # that is supposed to be provided to your email. i didn't get one.

you need to go to the website and put in your e-mail a second time, just to prove that you are you.

Yeah I use AVG also its REAL GOOD plus its FREE!! Two things I like about it. Check it out..
