My GOSHDERN DVD drive ate my BF1492 CD (pic included)

:chair: :crazy1: So i was playing Bf1942 today when I had to burn a CD so closed the game and I pushed the button that makes the CD come out and this is what I saw.... Posted Image

Im super angry anyone know how this happened.

I think it was simply hungry and took a bite.

Actually a high speed drive with older disks can do this. I have an old 12x drive that I use for older things, just so this won't happen.

My drive chewed mine up much worse...it happens.

Drives are cheap, time for a new one. Do not put another disc in there...otherwise you're asking for it.

If you have an expansion pack disc it will load the original BF1942 game, but make sure you swap out to a new drive first!

So i can just put in an Road to Roam and it will run?

fulcrum had a file that legally allowed you to play without putting in a disk

You can try something like "Nero Tools" and limit the drive speed. Or replace the drive. But in all probability it was a defect in the disc (Crack or air pocket) that caused the failure at high speed.

ummm there isn't a legal NO-CD crack out there... whoever told you that is lying.
