Anyone know what is happening? 

 

  ServerBrowser's updates of MoonGamers BF1942 server seemed to have stopped Sunday and is now constantly showing the current map as "mimoyecques" with 0 players.   Other 1942 servers are seemingly continuing to be successfully tracked.

 

If this is not resolved,  does anyone know of other websites with a similar function  (that  can be used  check the map & game stats) so I can decide whether I want to jump into the current game without having to first launch bf1942?

  Other servers are NOT being reported here, I am sorry to inform you.  In fact only a handful of the active servers are shown.  They are likely using an old list of servers from gamespy which shut down quite some time ago. 

 

   To explain that better..   this engine might pulse a server and show correct info for that server but it has NO way to go out and find out WHAT servers to pulse in the first place.  All that being said,  I recall engines similar to this 'before' gamespy shutdown..  typically they would use a 'static' list from gamespy only going to them every few weeks for an update.  

 

   There is NO grand statistical engine for 1942 anymore..   Gametracker and X-fire seem to show current servers.

 

   Your best option is to PATCH the in game browser and simply use it.

How about BFTracks.net?

   I believe, the engine is running with no one behind the wheel.   No way to obtain new servers or stay with a server that shifted I.P.'s   , or to track stats of players who cross those servers.

 

   I can only speak to the holes observed in the data and a 'general' idea of the type of communication going between the server , tracker , master server.

Has that been happening long?  GameTracker has been tracking the server just fine.  Why not just use that?
