Just want to remind everyone that we rely on our members' monetary support.  Some months ago and due to unforeseen circumstance, Moongamers folded as a corporation which means, which means your senior admin team is solely responsible for coming up with any shortfalls in funding.  We had a little bit of reserve in the account to cover a shortfall, but, I gotta say, we don't have much. 

 

So, what this means is...if we cannot make our monthly bill payments with the donations we have received for the month, there is no Moongamers.  We will have no choice to shut the doors, turn off the lights and find another place to do your gaming.  I guess the only thing that would remain would be the STO fleet and the War Thunder Squadron as they are MMOs and don't require "Us" to do anything.  But, everything else..teamspeak, website, 1942 and Dayz would be gone.

 

Just keep that in mind when considering whether to help us out each month with monetary support.  So, if you have a little bit extra this month, consider helping out the gaming community where you spend how many hours?

This is a very sad state..I am thinking that MMOs are the new tomorrow and the days of "offering" a game is about over.

Just curious, how much activity is being seen on other than the MoonGamers BF1942 server?   I don't play other than the BF1942 server.

 

If Moongamers folded as a corporation, was that a "for profit" entity at any time?  Just asking outta curiosity.

 

Isn't BF1942 the main attraction for Moongamers now?   If it gets that bad, I'm sure you could get the donations to cover just the BF1942 server and this website's costs.

 

I hope it doesn't get that bad, I donate a 10 spot now and again.

We were always a not for profit corporation. That is different from non-profit.

 

I don't watch other 1942 servers, ours is enough. And no, BF1942 is not the only game we serve.

Right now, off the top of my head, we offer 1942, Dayz Epoch Chernarus, we have a Star Trek Online fleet, a War Thunder squadron, World of Warships division when we play, with the future of getting back into Day of Defeat along with any other game that several of our members play while on a Moongamers offered teamspeak.

Your money goes into a pool. I think its safe to say you could envision your donation going toward keeping the server you play on running...

There is one game server box, one website, one file server. We will be downsizing further in the near future.

Sorry Guys, I would donate if I could but because of my country's economic situation we are not allowed to buy or use dollars :/ If we do, we have to pay taxes and the price of dollar is extremely expensive When the retentions are over I promise that I will contribue.

STO, World of Warships, and War Thunder are MMOs which we do not host.  We just have some Moongamers people that play those game as well.  What your money pays for is the box where we house 1942, Dayz, along with teamspeak.  Other monies have to be dedicated to the forum you posted in.  Remember, my money is paying for 1942, which I don't play.  It all works out in the end.
