Playing and suddenly disconnected? yep all slots are taken. Okay if I am being bumped for a paying player but nothing indicates that. Just disconnected. Happens too much. Think if it indicated I would be so iritated but I guess that is the admins thing. I have decided I willnot bother to try to join donate or play any longer because the admins have done this way too often. There is a proper way to bump but it isn't being used. Extreme rude. Juat happened again. Since noownership to the obvious why would I trust being treated bettereven if I join and donate?

It may be something on your end disconnecting you... It will say "<playername> kicked from server" if you are being removed by an admin... And the admin will almost always give you ample warning before you are kicked... Go to the unban section with your in game name to see if there is a ban on your acct...

Interesting assumptions you make, but all of them are inaccurate.

 

We don't bump players for "donor" slots. Period. We kick idle players, we kick rule breakers, but we don't kick to "bump for a paying player". Ergo, you were either idling, breaking rules, had personal internet issues or the server crashed, tossing everyone, not just you.

 

I always find it interesting when someone who hasn't donated threatens not to donate. If we do the math, 0-0=0 so I fail to understand how that is supposed to sway anything. It's usually used as a ploy to try to get attention, or get something you want, but it doesn't work here.

 

I won't be holding my breath for an apology, either. Folks like you would rather hold onto your incorrect assumptions than man up and admit you did not investigate before condemning. So, play here, play elsewhere, or don't play. There are a few good servers left, and I'm sure you will find another one that will make you unhappy.

I know when I first started playing Battlefield 2142 I would get disconnected quite often. It wasn't anything, or anyone on the server side that caused me to get disconnected; It was my ISP. I got a better one, and even today I get disconnected, but not nearly as often. Check your pc settings as well as your pc could play a big part in it.

I hate to say this but it's all to common.  Have you checked your cables?  Over time they loosen and the weak connection can imitate lag.

Just chill for a second,

you say that you were playing, got disconnected and when trying to get in again couldn't because it was full.
And assume that is intentional, to make room to some VIP.

I'll check yellow pages for mental doctor, paranoia is complicated and not only for you as this thread show.

If it was not a solar influence on your electronics, can be a regular disconnect due to your provider has a issue, your modem lagged too much and server does disconected you, a ping jump, and so many etc. it happens to me also once in a while and just keep trying until a place for me is available (not meaning at all that I am one of the VIP ones that only your mind can see).

I have been here since 09 and get disconnected at times, it is usually something on my end of the line.   Here are a few things you can do.

 

1.  Power cycle your modem, unplug the cable and the power cord from your modem for about 15 seconds and re-attach them.

 

2.  reboot your machine.

 

3. Go to Trend-Micro Housecall online virus scan and run a check on your system

 

4.  If all else fails buy a case of beer and a couple of pounds of pretzels and watch reruns of Gilligans until you get sick..lol  JK 

 

5.  Cheer the heck up and don't assume it's us, cause it isnt!

Sorry Birney but I havent seen this mention and i may have the solution.

 

I had the same problem...seemingly random "kicks"...but really drop outs. I Right clicked on the game icon and chose "run in compatibility mode". There are a few choices, so you may have to try a couple. Xp to start? Maybe older than that too. 

 

Now you have to right click and "run as administrator". Now...no drops or kicks...well not for that anyway.
