BF1942 is among the older games affected.  Not yet heard of any Windows 10 owners not being able to install and run BF1942.

Just a heads up for any who have Windows 10 and need to reinstall BF1942 via the discs.

GameCopyWorld will probably cover this with a fix, if they haven't already.

 

I plan on keeping Windows 7 for as long as I kept XP

I recently got a new SSD, put Win 7 on there, updated to Win10 and then obviously had to reinstall BF1942.  No real issues and I use the No-CD patch.

 

I guess it might depend on Windows10 version or something else.  

 

Hopefully if someone does have issues they'll find this thread of post in our Technical Help forum so we can get them fixed up ASAP

Just so you know. I removed update 3086255 and my emulated game plays again. Sucks running from the disc!
