Hi there all

So tonight I was playing and posi used a taxi to beat me to a plane. I ask him about it and nothing. He ignores. Then other people said he should kick himself. I know you are not allowed to taxi vehicles!

Then I was getting nade spammed by a player and I brought this up with posi once again, as he was the admin on and he does nothing.

Then we get to next game and I ask posi "next time I ask for admin help can you help pls"? He types ignore.5

I know I had a bad spate last week and I have said my sorrys and have moved on. It just seems this particular admin isn't much help in game. You can check the logs, but I think being ignorant and not helping like a admin does isn't a way forward.

I like this server and most of the people. Be nice to be treated like a player sometimes

If there aren't alot of players (lets say 5 vs 5) in the server we (mostly) do not enforce the taxi rule. This is because it may take a long time to get a plane on a big map. And with just 5 players on a side you need every player in the battle.

Well there was no no. 5 player so I presumed it was aimed at me. There was more than 5 a side. Posi just ignored the whole thing. Maybe if he said what you just said it would be better understood in game. The stinkest part is just not getting admin help when there is a admin in there. You can't say he doesn't read them. I thought that was the whole point of being admin. To enforce rules and if I'm getting made spammed and I bring it up I feel it should be dealt with. He had a personal issue with me I feel which is uncalled for. I've said my sorries regarding last week's antics so no need to carry on dragging a lip around.

Miller is right, the ignore command was a kick and it was not at you.

 

Admins have to do many things, and there are times they will have to triage what is going on. If they don't respond it is usually because they are doing something else and often players have no knowledge of what they are doing. They do not follow you around to ensure that you have a perfect game, so do not expect that.

 

Also, I see in the logs you were complaining because you told him someone was cheating and he didn't do anything. You don't actually know what he is or isn't doing. He may already be aware of and working on proving a hack. You may think someone is hacking but we will already have knowledge of that player, or they may just be skilled. We've been doing this for a very long time, and we know most of the players who come regularly.

 

And even I will ignore a player who needs constant attention. We're not here for just one player, we're here for the server.

I did not use plane in question relinquishing it to the guy on foot...   who hopped in and started typing away.

Thank you for the reply Lin. I didn't think anyone was hacking, just nade spamming which I beleive is not allowed. That's all : it's not for one player, it's a rule for the server, isn't it?

And I'm just raising awareness and the fact that the said admin was being extremely ignorant and lazy. It was not hard to feel and see that.

Don't sweat it Sarg... Best thing to do is just say "#xx nade spam" and keep playing... If its making it un-fun for you to play, leave and come back later. I used to get furious when people cheated or broke rules... Now I just smh, do a quick report and play on... If its a obvious hacking issue, go to the "admin on call topic" and report it there...
