So I've finally gotten around to installing STEAM and I've just discovered that
If you bought Half Life way back in the day and still have your key,
you can activate your old key with Steam and you get the "Half-Life Platinum Pack"
filled with these delicious morsels...

Half Life
Half Life Blue Shift
Half Life Opposing Force
Deathmatch Classic
Counter-Strike
Team Fortress Classic
Ricochet
Day of Defeat

Basically I've gotten 8 games for a Half-life (GOTY edition) cd key.


Now I'm wondering if I got anything else I can activate for more goodies...

also note the DOD you get is apparently the original not the "source" ver.
but there are LOTS of people playing it online.
I've DL'd DOD:S also so I guess we'll see if my old pile of junk can run it.
