hey all

although i got arma2 i never got to install the dayz mod but i recently got access to the alpha-version of the standalone-dayz-game. i just wanted to ask if anyone here is planning to get it and is already playing or if the dayz-community here is planning to move to the standalone if its finally out of its alpha/beta-status.

I may pick it up when it gets better but right now I'm playing the mod.

nah joining isnt really an option atm...sure the standalone isnt good atm, its still alpha. but still there are nearly 0 bugs that make the game unplayable. its just that it doesnt feature vehicles and other stuff atm, but whats there is working nearly perfectly

I just bought this game, and don't see me paying for a new game in the near future.

Yeah I'm definitely going to be waiting until the stand alone is out of alpha/beta and ready for a full launch, which may take a long time. I'm just enjoying the mod too much.
