Today I held a personal admin contest and placed 5 briefcases in my backpack.
I then went somewhere and hid myself.
Then I placed 5 hints on the map and the players began to search.
Almost immediately, Casper was at my location. But I talked him out of his decision that he was right by throwing him false leads. Also, he just couldn't believe the Radio Tower had a bathroom in it.
3 other guys were searching but didn't seem to add up the coordinates to figure there were TWO areas and only one of them fit the clues.
45 minutes later Kord opened the bathroom door in the Green Mountain Tower where I was hiding and took the 5 briefs.

Bova was at the base of the tower and would have found the briefs if Kord had delayed too much.

how about a race were admin spawn cars or such in for a race to a point and back again and how about you have defensive missions were missions spawn to attack your base at your request

I think an admit hunt once in a while would be okay. But I don't think it should be a constant thing and wear it out.

I think admin hunt is a great idea, limit it to foot traffic from a central point giving admins a 5 minute head start or something like that.....

Well, I'm getting the feeling that you guys want to hunt down an admin...

What if we had 2 or 3 Admins take over a building. The map would designate what city the building is in, but you would need to figure it out from there. Find the building, eliminate the admins, loot their bodies and keep their stuff! All shooting AND deaths would take place inside the building. No shooting or killing outside the building allowed.



Don't bring anything to the hunt that you're not willing to lose... No money or briefs on your body... The winner, or team. who eliminates the admins gets to loot all bodies in the building. Of course I know you guys will probably share with each other. So much brotherly love in this place it makes me weep...

Now to see if we can spawn in a good multi-storied building for this... Randigar?

Also, what about doing a fishing contest, prize(s) will be up to the admin team. It can be varied from all fish caught in A fixed time slot, or only trout, or Tuna, and so on..

It is non-violent, but it is still a contest.

I remember when I had my server up and going, these events were fairly successful, with a decent population, my personal favorite would be when an admin has loot or money on them takes a car and goes from say NEAF to Elektro and between the two points a player or players must ambush and kill the admin to claim the prize or prizes, kept in the admin's inventory of course.

I love all the ideas, but hows about a race or two as well... everyone gets a bus... and an RPG I like the fishing derby too and the admin hunt down is a must!

1) Bike race down the coast road
2) foot run from place A to place B, at night. Admin spawning horeds of zombies as we go
3) admin spawns AI base at the old castle north of stary. We all attempt to retake it
4) PVP tank battle (tanks get deleted after battle)
5) triathalon. mozzie, suv, bike
6) mozzie grenade accuracy contest
7) zombie snipe contest, most kills in x minutes from > yyy yards
