Hi,

I keep trying to download the new master server patch but, Windows 10 picks it up as potentially unwanted application.  It flags it as a virus in Defender and requests me to delete the file every single time.  The first time I tried to install it, it popped up a blue window that said "don't run" at bottom or, click on "info" and Run anyway.. I tried to run it and, it threw an error message that, the file contains malware.

Any one else having the same issue?  I went to the link provided on your forum..  ie: https://www.moddb.co...f1942org-patch1

Wish I could get the computer to do so.  It refuses to allow me to install it.  I have no way to get it to install without, throwing errors.  Can't bypass them.

-Update- Dug through Windows Defender and, found a way for it to accept the file.

FYI, today Arkyliën has updated the available patch so that it contains a more functional and reputable installer, which does not trigger the false-positive that it was triggering before.  So re-download from the same moddb.com link (https://www.moddb.co...f1942org-patch1) and you will have a larger and better installer to use for future re-installations.

Arkyliën also posted a news item about the master server change and need for the patch: https://www.moddb.co...w-master-server
