It just won't open and i really don't want to lose all my songs anyone got any ideas?

go into you Itunes folder and save all the songs on disk, another PC or whatever is available to you. The files should still be available to you, even if Itunes won't open. Also, answer Matt's question and we'll see what we can do...

copy and past the tunes to a seprate folder and then redownload itunes. After you reopened Itunes click on file and then click on add folder to album. if not ill jump on ts with you and get it worked out. I have all my music on a external drive now. All i did was point my desk top short cut to that external drive.

i put all my music onto an external hard drive then uninstalled itunes reinstalled it and put all the music back on everything is fine.
