With the new patch you are able to change your clothes with you bag on. However, it is bugged in that you will lose all of your gunbag items if you do so. Please follow the "old" procedures for changing until the next patch comes out. (The next patch will be out very soon.)

That's one of those learning lessons from earlier. I always put my bag away before changing clothes. I think even with the "patch" to allow for it, I will still follow the old procedures..just in case..what...Dayz is buggy..and not altogether seamless..get out..I know, right...
