Hey guys ...been having some punk buster problems.
Just now getting back to playing bf after not playing for many years...
now playing on win7. Normally the server lets me on for maybe 5

Ahh.. the ole' 1942 pbag error.
I believe this error is caused by needing pnkbstrA.exe and pnkbstrB.exe
set to run as administrator on a win 7 install.
I will guess you have already done the punkbuster update,
and set BF1942.exe to run in xp servicepack 2 or 3 compatability mode
(sometimes one works better than the other)
Then the next thing needed is to set PnkBstrA.exe and PnkBstrB.exe
to run as administrator.
They can be found in the windows\system32 folder I believe.
Also be sure the game itself is running as Administrator.
One time I did the set to run as administrator and it didn't work,
but re-updating punkbuster and then setting PnkBstrA.exe and PnkBstrB.exe
to run as administrator did the trick...
