Ok, well I was informed that with an i7 quad core [email protected] I really don't need to upgrade my system. I'm sure I have a post around here somewhere from years ago on my specs, but, I think it time to upgrade my video card. I currently run a Radeon 5870 card. It is getting really warm to the touch so I think it may be going bad anyway. So, for all you techs out there, here is the question: Without spending gobs of moeny, what is a good option for me at the moment? Define gobs..well, less than $250 or so for a card. In the meantime, I'll look for my post about my system specs from years ago.. I would like to continue to run and AMD card for all the goodies that are already installed on my machine.

Ready...go!!

Found my original post..May 2010 was the date:

ASUS P6X58D motherboard
Radeon HD5870 graphics card
ATCS 840 case
Cooler Master Silent ProM 850W power supply
Ultra ChillTec CPU Cooler
Intel i7-960 processor Quad core 3.2Ghz
Seagate Barracuda 1.5TB SATA hard drive
3x2GB DDR3 Corsair "Dominator" RAM
