Is this anyone running this resolution with Win 7 64 bit? I have a Sapphire Radeon 4850x2 card. The old video.con editing doesn't work anymore... (because of patch 1.6?)
I only can run what's listed in game (1600x900)
Thanks!
1920x1080 res anyone?

I run Win7 64 and run 1920 x 1080p. I run an Nvidia Gforce GTX 570 (single). I play DoD and am able to use the same res, what game are you referring to?

~\Battlefield 1942\Mods\bf1942\Settings\Profiles\YOURNAME\video.con
Make sure you're editing the correct one.
After you've saved it be sure to right-click on the file and select Properties and set it to Read-Only and click OK
Other wise it'll default back to a lower res.

It's weird I get these random crashes right when I'm about to go into a game...

It's probably Windows 7 causing the random crashes. If you haven't already done so, follow these steps to reduce the number of crashes you get:
- Run BF1942.exe as administrator
- Run Bf1942.exe in compatibility mode for XP SP2
- Create exemption for BF1942.exe in Windows Firewall
