Those of you who have CA or SA, please stop with the self kicks. I'm sure it's fun and all but the admins have to check out what is happening whenever there is a kick, so basically we stop what we are doing to see if there is a problem. Our TS has had enough "interruptions" by certain groups that this is a reflex.

Oh, the number of times myself and 5 others are in TS and suddenly "Player kicked". Everyone starts asking what happened. I hop out of game and find someone kicked themselves. Its annoying every time.

Yeah, usually people ask what happened. Normally it's just somebody kicking themselves, or something from the CS:S channels.

I am a server admin on my guilds teamspeak server, and basically, what my guild has found is there is really two solutions to this.

Three, really, but one isnt a very good solution in my opinion.

Firstly, I know a lot of people will suggest muting those sounds in teamspeak.
Personally, I am against that as you don't know if someone is abusing other players thru SA or if there is something that needs a admins attention, or when you switch channels or loose connection for that matter. What I have personally done (yes I know you can mute some sounds, I perfer not to though) is to lower the volume on the sounds from the default to about 1/4 volume. Less anoying when I am gaming, but still hearable.

Secondly, teamspeak keeps logs on who does what down to almost every detail. If it continues to be a problem, you can speak to those who are causing the issue and deal with them on a individual basis if need be. Since you have spoken to them about it in form of a post you could always direct them here or speak to them as a firstwarning/second warning and remove CA/SA rights as a third warning.

Thirdly, I ave personally found making a afk channel helps keep people from kicking themselves to a extent.

Must fight urge to go into teamspeak right now, revoke and reapply someone's admin rights 4-5 times, move moon radio 1 to the afk channel, kick the Ghost of Xevious Past, move moon radio 2 to a channel I made called "ndwonderla", and finaly kick myself.
