Hi everyone, I recently joined the forum and this is my first post. I've had a look at some of your vids Posi. I love them. 

 

I've uploaded 3 BF42 movies to youtube in the last 6 weeks of some first person gameplay using fraps. The movies are not to the same quality and a very different style. Anyway, here's the first one;

Thanks Posi! Yeah I wasn't sure how to set it to 'play in page'..

That's my first every vid. I've done another 2 since. The 3rd one was uploaded on Monday. When I get time I'll check out more of the forum to get tips on movie making. I'm interested to see what program you use as an alternative to fraps. Fraps records around 4gigs every 15 mins. Massive files and the clarity doesnt seem to match.

I vaguely recall a BF42 movie maker download from years ago? Is there one and if so is it any good?

Play in page is automatic,  perhaps you used the 'link' button above.  Yes, I vaguely recall the same but do not know as to the quality.  

 

Windows movie maker will edit up a movie for you and is free.  If possible, turn up your resolution, 1080 on youtube will look like a game experience.  Lower resolutions can be a bit fuzzy.  I wouldn't let not being able to do that stop you though.   I wasn't able to push 1080 for quite a while.
