The last map we played tonight on Custom Map Night was Sherman. I believe this used to be a CAL map in the pre-source days, and it's a port with some modifications to make it fit with the mechanics of DoD:S. In particular, some players noticed the map felt "bigger" which I think is due to the speed and stamina changes in DoD:S. We started with 10 and hovered around that for the duration of the map. It was getting late, so we started shedding by the end.

Name: dod_sherman2_rc1
Size: Medium
Minimap: Yes
Type of Map: CTF
Flags:
- 5 total flags
- Middle 2 person capture
- Others are instant single

Description: A street winds through the map with 3 flags on it, 1, 3, and 5. The 3 flag is a tank 2 person capture in the middle, where a majority of the action can be expected. The 2 and 4 flags are in back alleys a bit out of the way, which also provides ways to avoid the snipers and MGs that are likely to setup looking over the middle. Fairly even and well balanced on both sides.

Should play well with between 10-32 players.

Ran one vote for whether players liked it or not. With 9 of 10 voting, all said they liked it.

I'll try and get some screenshots once I've got more time.
