dude 5.5 frames per sec?? damn b4 it was taking lik 20 min a frame. I started at lik 5:30 and now its 8:43 and only 50/500 done.

Yeah, I think the frames for the 50k ones are different, or you guys are running actual no-kidding suppercomputers. My computer is not top of the line, but it isn't bad, and it gets about 8-15 minutes per frame.

The first one I got was 50000 frames and if nothing else was going on it would take close to 7 seconds per frame.

Have you chacked the stats yet? We are so far away from the top teams, and they are from overclocking websites and PC magazines!!!! :)

But if everyone at Moongamers were to join us, I bet our numbers would make up a lot of the difference and we would start climbing the chart. Some people have more than one system. Can you imagine Moongamers at the top with like 1000 CPUs chugging away during their idle time!? That would be awesome! :coo:

i used to to have the bleeding edge of technology as my pc, but now it is the scabbing edge.

It is only 2 years old and I OCed my core to run at 3.6Ghz Wont go much higher than that.

I'm 6th :applaud:

But yeah, it definitely doesn't like to have any sort of game running along with it; the game usually either crashes to desktop or minimizes.

I have it running just fine. Just make sure you don't up the process priority in the options.

I just uninstalled it, it heats up the room alot because my cpu is constantly running, it shortens the life of your cpu, and it uses lots of power, raising your bill and damaging the environment. Just keep those things in mind.

good thing i have A/C in my room, i dont have to pay electricity bills and by the time my cpu dies, its time for a upgrade anyway :P

I don't see any of that happening here. You must have set it to run with high priority or something. Or you just need the actual room temperature to be lower to begin with.

Im letting it idle away and only get about 76% usage at the max, anyway to increase that while my comp is idle?

Right click on the tray icon or the frame screen and click Configure, then go into the Advanced tab and change the first slider higher if it isn't already up all the way. If it is, I dunno why it wouldn't be using 100%...You can always overclock if you know how :D

We need more people on this. Did you see the rankings? We folder 47 units... the no.1 team has folded 4.1 MILLION! They even set up their own website for folding. HardOC Folding Page
But of course they are a commercial site and have almost 2000 members folding.

...AND they've been at it probably a lot longer than we have...
...AND they are all about modding and overclocking, if I recall correctly, so they probably have a 2 quad core Xeons running in liquid nitrogen with 45 GB of RAM and everything like that...

...we are doing pretty well with what we have, but, like you said, could be doing even better if more people joined and stuck with it. We can't force people, though, so...

I'm moving into college tomorrow and I have to use my extra PC there until the 28th, after which I plan on running 24/7 on F@H :) It's only a 2.x GHz Intel 4, but since I'll running it all the time, I should get a lot more WUs done. :coo:
