Mayyyyybe Guadalcanal??

Omaha CQ....if....maybe, just if....we switched low gravity on for it and took the tanks/ship out of it.   That might be more work than it's worth but that's just me being curious....

Britain was nice to see coming back from three months off!  I'm indifferent to 'seeing less' of maps.....but if there was one to 'ditch' for a small period of time, maybe Kharkov?  Just thoughts from one person out of many.  As much as I was happy to not see Bulge the last three days, I'd be happy to trade it for Kharkov if we kept Britain in rotation.

Unfortunately we can’t do low grav in rotation. It is a manual setting that has to be adjusted per map and turned off before the next map runs.

We have considered tossing Omaha CQ into a rotation in the next few to come, we try to change it every 1-2 weeks to keep it fresh.

Unfortunately Gazala just doesn’t do well without massive population on the server. It is just too massive of a map for 10-30 players. The same is true with Philly and Guadal. If we saw higher numbers routinely, we would absolutely consider it.

I do agree with Britain. It is an oldie indeed, but a little something for everyone. Even infantry players do fine with it because they can bail and tear it up on allied side. It plays much better than Coral for sure.

Bulge and Invasion of the Philippines

 

The toughest of the battles were fought in the snow and around water ...

The struggles faced by the soldiers were immense and we should honor those moments

We put Bulge in regularly, and Kursk CTF was in recently.

 

It's been a while since we had Aberdeen but that is a fun one to run from time to time.

I could do with less of Battleaxe CQ. I've just never liked the way that map plays out with all the flags so close. Maybe more of Omaha Beach CQ.

I would like to see Berlin CTF, I have never seen an empty BCTF, or if it starts slow, it always picks up quick.

yup we are trying it as the final map. somewhat of a mixed reaction so far but i have seen it do fairly well intraday.

Just so everyone is aware, we (admins) constantly watch the population and map trends even when we aren't actually playing. That is why the rotation is refreshed every 2 weeks minimum, sometimes every week when we get around to it.

This isn't really a map suggestion, but I didn't feel like starting a new thread...but....

 

Thank you to the people who took the time from their Christmas/Holiday to run the maps yesterday and honor a couple requests (not just from me).

 

I really enjoyed playing Wake CTF, Guadalcanal CTF, Gazala and Philly.
