I am running with a Turtle Beach Catalina Sound Card... And I can't get the back ports to work... well nor the front--- for the Mic/Headphones to work.
The headphones only work when I plug them into the speakers themselves.
My headset I just bought came with NO software, it just said, "plug in and use"...
So it must be a sound card problem or a hardware configuration that I don't know how to do.
Please help...

1. Try downloading newer drivers, it always works, check manufacturer's site for updated software or firmware.
2. Try placeing it in a new PCI slot.
3. Make sure the power cable (if any) is connected properly
4. REPEAT #1 cause you need that.

Well I downloaded everything that was on the CD that came with it... But I will also check online at their site when I get back home.
And I'm not even sure it came with one, let alone that it needs one... But putting it in a different PCI slot may help, dunno.
I'll check back again this weekend when I get back into town.
Thanks for your help 2Kills.
