Our website is long overdue for an update. Not having the means to update has left us leaving a false image.

We need help.

Langley, who spent a year of his time building the site, along with a few others, has been extremely busy with his own work. If he cannot be reached or is unavailable to help update the site we'll need to find a qualified replacement. Hopefully we can tap into our greatest resource...the community.

Langley considered the incredible amount of time he spent creating our signature look as a means to give back to the community. Do we have any qualified webmasters out there, someone willing to take the time to help the community? If so please let us know.

We ask the community for their understanding on this matter and we apologize for it taking so long to resolve.

Thank you...

As stated in the Core forum. Get me the login info and I will fix the current pages up. No need for a new website when we have one :)

I have limited web skills, but I do have experience with many different apps. If you have something specific you could use an extra hand on, just PM me and I will see what I can do. I don't mind the busy work...

I am not a webmaster per se but rather a webamateur. I have built websites in the past (PHP, HTML). One of these sites also had its own forum (PHP) which I hooked in and ran off MySQL which resided on the same domain as the website. I have some experience working with graphics as well. I work at a software company full time, but in a project management capacity, not as a developer.

If I can be of any assistance, especially when it comes to updating existing pages, graphics/images, text, links, headers/footers, etc (as opposed to creating entirely new content)) please contact me. I find that I am able to do my best work if there is already a framework in place.

Comet contact me. I have been a webmaster in the past. I have had 400 page websites. In the last few years I dabble in it constantly to keep my skills up if I ever decide to do it again. I do all html dhtml some php and can find all the scripts that are needed out there. You need a new website. I am not being critical but finding things on moongamers is not easy. If you decide to use me then please decide what you want or ideas of what you want.

Hello, are you still seeking some one to assist you?

I'm a software engineer by trade, and a programming fanatic at home. I've worked on numerous server-side developments before, a few personal and a few client based. I spend my free time doing freelance web design/server development, most of which I spend the time creating free websites for people because I enjoy the process and the gratification of completing a project.

I take programming standards seriously, I spend many hours a month just reading programming specifications. As well as just programming standards, I take the world wide consortium standards seriously too, and as much as I hate internet explorer 6, I do support it. Backwards compatibility is key.

If you wish, PM me and I'll send you a portfolio of some live websites and code extracts. I prefer to work on object orientated code, but have no problem with procedural/event driven (But, I am wary of the goto raptors).

A quick reference to what languages I know (web); PHP, Asp.net, Javascript (JQuery/Mootools etc. frameworks pref), XHTML & CSS (I don't bother with just plain html) and various other forms of mark-up languages (XML etc) and as for databases; MySQL, SQLite and SQL.

Thanks for taking the time to read this,
Mr Archie

Edit: Corrected a couple of typos

Thank you all for offering your help, my apologies for not replying sooner.

We have decided not to bring our current site up to date for now knowing it is by far too much work. Instead we'll grab a template we can work with (edit) for a Home page and link off of it, keep it simple. When the time comes we'll need help and come calling. We are currently looking at alternatives to work with. I'll update here after the next Core meeting on July 10th.

Thanks again, will be in touch...
