Alright, so this morning some guy on TS recommended that I install this mod (which I forgot the name of). Afterward I got tired of it and uninstalled it using the Windows 7 method in the Control Panel. When I went and tried to connect to multiple online servers it said "Data differs from server." I went back into TS and they told me that I was on wrong version. So I booted up BF1942 only to see that the version number had changed from 1.61b to 1.61. When I go to download and install 1.61b it says that it's already installed and won't let me re-install or uninstall the patch. ( :wtf: ARGH!) So what's the solution? Might I have to uninstall all of BF1942 and reinstall it again? ( :throw: sigh...)

-Thanks in advance. _:toon3:_:toon2:___________:toon1:

Full removal and reinstall is your best bet. Not knowing what this mod was or what it installed I can not tell you what all got changed. Make sure that once you remove things you go in and delete all except the PB folder. If the uninstaller removes the PB folder make sure to read the sticky in the General 1942 forum on how to fix your PunkBuster.

All you have to do is take that mod out its MY computer : Local Disk C : Program Files: Ea Games: Bf1942 : Mods remove it at this stage then should work

It changed base files so he would have to reinstall to fix the problem and get the correct files reloaded.

Why thank you! Yea, I ended up uninstalling but couldn't find my disks so I'm waiting on a new order from amazon. If I find my old disks (which are the trilogy) I'd be more than happy to freely ship them to anyone who needs them; just PM me your address.
