On OCT 28-29th I will start at 2pm cst on MOD server 64.34.179.226, and will be playing custom maps. Map requests welcome-can play anything from vanilla, SW/RTR, and maps from our 2 map packs in our download section. please post on rather or not you are interested

I'm in for the custom map packs 1 and 2.
Suggest all downlaod these maps.Some great maps in there!St Sauver,Operation Forrester and so on.

Operation Forager, Remagen and St. savieur(?) will be a blast, by far the best maps ever created for this game

Back on topic, though:

I plan on posting this on at least 4-5 other forums to get some other communities involved. I know plenty of people that LIVE for customs. Is that alright with you, Billy?

I also posted at other forums. Only reply was "hey it's G.O." Well, I was thinking since it's Halloween. Download Pirate's mod and we will play some Pirate's as well.

So, make sure that ya'll download all the download in the 42 maps section and Pirates in mod section.

I would be really interested to play those map packs .

I would suggest not to combine the map packs with RTR and SW. Here in Europe its quite hard to find RTR and SW, so many of us (I include myself) do not have such mods, and it would be a disappointment to be enganged on the Halloween maps, and suddently be kicked as new maps are being run belonging to RTR or SW.

PS: I do recall playing once on a map, that was a mappack for Bf1942, that had a huge dam (not damn!) and was all frozen... bloody great map if it is included in the map pack.

The map packs for those who did not find them before are located HERE

The maps include some MoonGamers custom maps that were designed by MoonGamers members.

These maps include:

Moon Omaha Valley
This map is basically a mirrored Omaha Beach without the sea but 2 hills and valley with a flag in the middle of the valley created by the hills.

Moonieville
This map has a good bit of CounterStrike "feel" to it. Fast flags lots of ways to get to places and tons of fast fighting.

Stonehenge
This is the map that has custom vehicles... namely SHEEP! Yes thats right sheep! Armed and ready to do battle.

Bridge Defense
This map was originally a test to see if I could make a destructible environment in the 1942 game engine. It turned out that it was also fun at the same time. You can destroy 2 bridges in this map by placing explosives at the engy icon on the mini-map

Operation Forager
This map was a TWL match map and can be great fun for general gameplay. you can sneak along the edges of the map and try to get past the center to attack from behind. Great fun here as well.

Canyon Fodder II
Great map made by the Internet Warzone community and permission granted to MoonGamers to use in a map pack. This map is set in a night time setting. This one has helicopters and some sneaky way around the map over the hill and through the bushes.

These are just a few of the maps that I pulled off the top of my head there are many more maps to play and tons of fun in those maps.

sorry if any of ya'll showed up later yesterday. I had 6 people(including myself) for about 1/2 hr-then everyone left. through out the day a person at a time would show, stay a few minutes, and leave. I gave up. I will try again today. But, feel it will be much the same.

I also noticed. I can not get Pirates to run-always get kicked to desktop after map loads. I don't know if anyone else can get it to run. But, will more than likely. stay away from running Pirates.

Truly sad that so many BF42 MG server players do not know what they are missing by not playing the custom maps.

PS Did not know you could stash that many extra nades in your lower labium.
