Howdy..

Been years since i've been in here, but had a chat with noscope and twilligt about the berlin map.
I strongly suggest we take out those tanks, and either replace them or add something different. Atleast remove the heavy tank.
Twilligt and others have agreed on this, but what do you all think?

It's an infantry map.. for gods sake people!

We do have a Berlin that has the tanks, 'all of them' taken out, as well as the nades, it is quite literally an 'infantry only' map. On occasion it is rotated into the rotation but may be played at our admins discretion should players ask for it.

I rather enjoy a nice jeep ride around Berlin, the best is at sunset.

I do agree with the no tanks.
Can very easily turn into a camp fest, because isn't very difficult to steal russian tank. Also when you take out tanks you can remove the nadefestivities.

We already have the CQ version file for this. The thing is, the mass players would not play it without the vehicles in so it was set back. The TDM version has all vehicles and explosives removed. Simply ask the admin in game to change maps to TDM Berlin.

TDM Berlin here is awesome! But, the tanks are cool too. I don't know if it is possible, but maybe only make the tanks spawn in once both teams have a flag so one team doesn't get pinned in or something like that. Some way to keep them in to make the die hard players happy, but also help prevent one team from getting stuck and bled out quickly.
