Hey all,

FYI, I'm trying to get some '42 action on twitch.tv! You can watch me play by going to:

I'm gonna try and get the stream up and rolling again here in the next 15 minutes.. I'm still trying to find the right mix of playability and decent visual for users but I think I'm getting closer!

Also, does anyone know how to get a "fullscreen windowed" mode? I know some of you play this way but its the first time in 11 years for me. =]

Um, Alt+Enter should get you into windowed mode, then maximize the window. Not all games like that Windows command though...

And does the game not have a windowed mode in the options?

Hah! You assume too much! BF1942 was made a super long time ago. The only way you can get the game in Windowed mode is to amend a line in the videodefault.con file. But now I'm wondering if there's a way to full screen it while still being in windowed mode? Maybe if I force the in game resolution to my monitor res like I would if I was playing on a widescreen display in regular fullscreen mode? Any of you long time BF42 vets out there with experience with windowed mode?

Haha now that's just not right! I think I'll hop on Moon TS next time I play. Is there a reason you guys have your Origin server and CD server seperate? I believe there is a way to allow both populations to play on one server am I right?

Yes you are! However we do not run cracked servers, we also have a ranked game/box to think of which means we have to follow EA's terms of service if we are to continue to host a ranked game and any future ranked game.
