[DEATH and DESTRUCTiON]

Whenever I try to connect to a BF2 server it loads, and verifies. Then it says This server only allows something without modified content or something, I need help on this one, I have reinstalled 5 times, and each time it says error something with some file during it, I have tried everything, its really making me...angry.

Get the upgrade from the BF2 website

Make sure that you have the corrct patch. That might help you out. If it doesnt post again and some of our techies will help you out!

we are having an admin meetying right now but as soon as it is over, i will let some techies know and they should repsond to your problem. Sorry I am not much help

Are the servers you are trying to connect to running the 1.0 version of BF2? Can you connect to the moongamers servers?

I can't even find the moon server. This is BF2 just to let people know, and its any server. I have tried 12 now, and no go on all of them.

Currently the BF2 server is not being listed for unknown reasons. We are working on it through EA and WOLF.

Yea, but what should I do? I can't play BF2 ! ! ! 1 1 1 one one one I have to play Singleplayer . Boring as hell. And I am behind on my rank, I could be at 5000!

Have you tried to connect by IP ? the address of the moon BF2 Ranked server is 64.34.179.100
That is how I've had to connect lately because it isnot showing up in the browser

Check your firewall and router port forwarding.

My dad changed it so we just do something online, and it goes online, but it started after we did that, like four days. And my firewall has it under exceptions. This is boo to the max. (I complain a lot, face it.)

Here's what it says "This server only allows players with unmodified content to join. Revert your version of Battlefield 2 to the current official version to join." And I haven't hacked it or anything. And if I do hack anything, its going to be with an axe. So OMG4Lz to the m4x ! ! ! 1 1 1 one one one.

When you uninstalled, did you finish the job by deleting ALL BF2 folders, including your configs? If not...don't bother uninstalling. That goes for BF1 and BF2...

I've uninstalled everything..its uninstalled now. Every last bit. I think I am gonna play on the original unpatched version untill 1.03 comes out. Other people have had this, and it sucks. Smileys can't describe the situation I'm in. :blah: <--not real smiley

Sorry up double posting, but I went on EA for help...yes I am a sinner. They said to do all this stuff so I did. I reinstalled ONCE again, but now I am stuck in the middle, cause seems like it can't install Dragon Valley..whoopdie doo, eh? My luck gets stronger with the tides, FFS! !! ! ! ! Why me!? Its like whenever I do something it gets worse. I think I got a bad BF2 copy or something, which is the most stupidest thing I have ever heard. And I am pretty sure thats what's up. So, any ideas?





Edit: My 9th time reinstalling and, for effing sake it works un-patched and on unranked servers, I will try patching and such. Maybe the Stratovarious - Destiny song helped for me. Well, thanks for everyone's help. I am just bad luck to the max, so eh.
