Hi,

Battlefield stopped working on my PC. Missing the EA Games folder somehow.

I tried to download from Discord and Moongamers, and the download fails.

Any idea why? I tried Chrome and MS Edge and same issue.

The others downloaded fine.

If you're using Windows, try a repair or re-install from Add/Remove Programs (if the game is still listed there), or look for the BF installation file in Downloads (or wherever you download files to) and install it again.

Can't download the installs from Discord or Moongamers forum. Same link which fails at the end.

I made a backup of my EA Games folder, and copied it over. Works, but wanted to reinstall it.

Not sure how only the EA Games folder can go missing. Odd. Thank you.

Oh, I had in mind looking for the original downloaded installation file (if you went that route instead of game disc) on your comp from when you first installed the game (with most people I would imagine it's still sitting in their Downloads folder, along with any patches downloaded), but since the game is working again (the backup copy was a damn good idea) I would save that as an option if it happens again. A possible why it happened might be that your anti-virus quarantined your game folder and that's why it was "missing."
