Hi guys, just wanted you to be aware there is a bad connection coming from German and Austria right now...it's bogging down somewhere in France (no comments please).
I'm seeing BF pings in the 400-500 range. This will make gameplay pretty damn bad for a bit. Nothing you can do except to wait it out.
The TDM and CQ servers currently have the high ping kick off so you can still come visit!

Yeah people, No comments please!
nothing like...
"They should just use some Panzers, they roll right on thru France!"
or
"So, the French finally figured out how to slow down the Germans, eh?"
that would just not be tasteful.
So, please, no comments.

I don't want to be mean to all the folks having high ping problems connecting to the servers but...
If a player comes into a server with a poor ping, doesn't that have an effect on all/most of the other players in the server? They'll get lag issues due to the high/problem ping guy.
Isn't this a situation where the good of the many outweighs the good of the few? I think we should keep the auto kick for high ping ON, its there for a reason.

In CS, your bad ping can directly affect the other player's hit boxes. In BF it mostly affects yours. Yes, you have to adjust your hitbox area slightly in BF but not nearly like CS. It's up to the CQ Sr team whether they will keep the kick off on CQ or not. But on TDM we have learned it doesn't really make as much difference as some think, and we've had it off for a very long time. Yes, we manually kick high pingers from time to time so we do monitor the server. But there would be times when Madame Internet will have a heyday and go all PMS, and half the server will get kicked for high ping. We didn't want that either!
Bottom line is, we would rather have LITUP, OCSFA86, Butcher, and all of our other European friends from the same area stay with us if they want to be here than have them kicked endlessly until that connection is fixed.

Scandinavia had no problem.
Looks like it was only Germany, Austria and the countries there.

All right, who said 'ping' again?
-200 pinger
I better stay off CS, I'll ruin the h4x0rs' skills

My Ping was yesterday crazy. Sometimes he was 713. Then he went down to 200, up to 500.
I think the countries in middle europe have this probleme!
