Last time I played BF was when I had dual 21" NEC CRT's...

Now I'm (trying) to play on a 27" flat panel @ 1920x1080.

Has anyone modded their setup to modify the font size for both Chat and Tags?

I can barely make out Chats if I focus on it, and for Tags I have to stop moving and really focus.

I see some mods out there, but would like to hear from anyone who has done it recently on 1920x1080.

There is a mod which I used to use and worked pretty well.

I used the first file (2xfont.zip) and followed the instructions to replace the Font.rfa file in my install.

You might have to tell your Antivirus to ignore it in order for it to download properly.

I had seen that while searching but wasn't sure if it would do the trick.

Mine is the same way. I have to study the chat and name tags. 

Name tags I cannot make out.

It not an issue not being able to read the chat on the run.

I have a new puter. But I seldom have the sound on. Because on my old puter the sound was so bad I have played BF42 without sound since the beginning.
