Hey I was wondering if BF1942 orgin, has the ability to cap the frames?
I get about 99-100+ frames average on Max Settings, but when there's like a huge fire fight it dips and it really anoys me. I would like to add the cap because when it does dip I won't notice it that much.
FPS cap?

You need to add the line:
renderer.lockfps 100
to your VideoDefault.con file. Change the number to what you want. The file should be here:
C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 1942\Mods\bf1942\Settings\videodefault.con
You might need to set it as Read Only afterwards too.

Set it to 50 fps.
