I have a Asus sabertooth 990fx r2.0 mother board
AMD FX 8150 8 core
8mb ran

I want to run fan xpert2, I believe I DL it right but it will not work. Keep getting error and it will not run.

1st error message Assertion faild"index<Count(), file ..\src\asus\Sensor.cpp, line 1666

2nd error message when i close the first Abnormal program termination

any ideas on how to fix this?

USHA here is a post on the Asus forums that should help fix your problem. Someone posted on the 2nd page with your mobo and said it fixed the errors.

dint work, at the spot telling me to "stop" the fan control it would not let me. It just said "starting" and would not do anything else.

We have the same setup (except I have 16GB). I have not messed with fan xpert. Let me know how it goes if you get it running.

If you have installed it as Admin then you need admin-rights.
Another idea would be to open msconfig, remove it from the autostart and restart your pc.
Which OS r u using? Win7 or Win8?

I have deleted the program because it would not work.

Listed above are the 2 error messages I get. Can anyone tell me what they mean?
